Looking for an electrician near you?

Evans Electrical Services is NICEIC approved and works across Cheshire and the North West from our Northwich base. Pick your town and the job you need — every page below has local pricing, coverage and response times.

Northwich (CW8 & CW9)

Northwich is our busiest area, covering the town centre plus Hartford, Barnton, Davenham, Leftwich, Winnington, Rudheath and Lostock Gralam. Housing here ranges from Victorian terraces near Witton Street to newer estates around Kingsmead.

Warrington (WA1–WA5)

We are based at 219 Walnut Avenue, Weaverham, Northwich CW8 3DN, so Warrington is a short drive away — Stockton Heath, Latchford, Grappenhall, Lymm, Penketh and the town centre are all a short drive away.

Knutsford (WA16)

Knutsford mixes period property around King Street and Tatton with modern housing on the town's edges, so work here ranges from careful rewires in older homes to straightforward installs on newer builds.

Altrincham (WA14 & WA15)

Altrincham, Hale and Bowdon have a high proportion of larger period homes and converted flats, which often means older wiring, multiple consumer units and rental properties needing certification.

Wilmslow (SK9)

Wilmslow and Alderley Edge properties frequently have larger electrical loads — outbuildings, garden lighting, EV charging and home offices all drawing from the same supply.

Winsford (CW7)

Winsford has a large stock of 1960s–1990s housing across Wharton, Over and Swanlow, where split-load boards and older wiring are common.

Middlewich (CW10)

Middlewich covers canal-side cottages, town-centre terraces and newer estates, plus light industrial units around the Midpoint 18 area.

Stockport (SK1–SK8)

Stockport, Cheadle, Bramhall and Heaton Moor have plenty of pre-war housing and converted rentals, so certification and consumer unit work make up much of what we do here.

Macclesfield (SK10 & SK11)

Macclesfield ranges from stone-built properties on the Peak fringe to town-centre terraces and modern estates, with plenty of homes still on older fuse boards.

Chester (CH1–CH4)

Chester includes listed and conservation-area property in the city centre alongside suburban housing in Hoole, Upton and Saltney, so cable routing often needs a careful, low-impact approach.
